Eaton Square - elliptical
An extremely challenging residential staircase, conceptualised by Eric Parry Architects for another exclusive property in Eaton Square.

At the heart of this home is an elliptical staircase comprising a skeletal stainless steel frame with an undercarriage of pitted stainless steel sheeting. The treads and risers were clad in pre-cast terrazzo by Vicenza-based stone specialists, Laboratorio Morseletto
An offset 'outrigger' balustrade lined with stainless steel spindles is capped with a bronze handrail finished by Paris-based Atelier Mériguet-Carrère in Verde gris. The shape of the staircase mirrors the ceiling above which features an integrated bespoke lighting sculpture by renowned artist, Ingo Maurer.
