Palace Garden Terrace

A pure and refined multi-flight marble staircase providing access to six floors of an exclusive London home.

This staircase is the focal point of an entire building transformation which involved complete demolition of the existing interior structure whilst retaining the period façades, followed by an entirely new construction including two luxurious sub-ground floor levels.

Each flight of this lavish staircase is supported on a bespoke steel carriage beam and treads holding solid Carrara marble treads with concealed LED lighting. Glass balustrade panels were formed from single sheets of 21mm thick low-iron glass, the largest being 5.2 metres long and weighing 252 kgs, were capped with solid marble handrails.
