A dramatic cantilevered glass staircase stands as the focal point of this modern monochrome refurbishment. The 1300mm wide treads were constructed using 4 layers of laminated glass secured behind the wall finishes.

 

The 4 metre high glass balustrade panel floats just 10mm above the treads and a recessed handrail enclosure hides in the textured feature wall. This floating staircase always provokes compliments from new guests who ascend with equal amazement and trepidation!
