Situated in the centre of Skype’s headquarters in Chancery Lane, these two sweeping staircases are the focal point of the internet communication companies offices.

 

The stairs blend many design features including a monolithic plaster-sided inner wall which contrasts with a  curved toughened glass outer balustrade, offset stainless steel handrails, solid oak treads with opaque glass risers and a surrounding elliptical glass balustrade.

 

The relaxed central seating area and large rest-landings have made these stairs an ideal meeting place for an informal chat over a cup of tea.
